Spring and Summer Wardrobe Tips

Hey everyone!

I hope that you are doing well! Today I am going to be giving you some of my wardrobe tips for spring and summer. The weather is really hot by where I live, and so I decided that it would make sense to get together some tips since summer is really soon! Let’s get started!

Tip 1: Buy Staple Wardrobe Pieces in Lighter Colors. If you’re anything like me, you can tend to sometimes get sucked in to buying clothes that are neutral colors, such as black. Spring and summer are really great times to break that habit and start getting clothes in lighter shades. Unfortunately, this can sometimes be a bit difficult. I would recommend that if you’re having a tough time, you buy a must-have wardrobe piece in a different color. I recently bought a pastel pink jacket, and it’s perfect because if I’m wearing darker colors I can brighten them up. Definitely look in to buying wardrobe essentials such as handbags, light jackets (since it will be warmer), shoes, and jewelry in bright colors.

Tip 2: Get Shorts Now. Shorts are an essential when it gets warmer. April and May are both really great times to go out and buy them. If you wait until June, everyone is going to be having the same idea so your selection will not be as big. Besides the selection not being as big if you wait, the store you’re at may also not have a variety of sizes. Be sure to stock up now.

Tip 3: Start Looking For Swimsuits. This tip is kind of similar to the last one, but definitely look for bathing suits now. Last year, I went to so many shops, and I never found one that I truly liked until I ordered some from Triangl. If you see a swimsuit that you like, definitely buy it or consider buying it because they run out so quickly! You never know how good the selection will be. It’s really hard to find a style that you like, so keep your eyes open.

Tip 4: Play With The Different Lengths of Clothing. Since it is going to be a lot hotter, make sure to play with the different lengths of clothing by mixing some longer pieces with shorter ones. For example, you can buy a light weight, long dress with short sleeves in order to wear something longer that won’t make you overheated. You could also wear a pair of boots with a short skirt. The possibilities are truly endless, just make sure that you consider what you match together because of the weather.

Tip 5: Accessorize According To The Season. Definitely try to still accessorize during the spring and summer, despite the fact that it’s going to be a lot warmer. You’re not going to be wanting to wear layers of heavy scarves or jewelry in the summer, so look into other accessories such as headbands, simple necklaces and rings, and bracelets. You can obviously still wear a lot of jewelry, just make sure to contemplate whether it’s going to make you too hot or not. Although it’s not really an accessory, also make sure to try out different hair styles. It’s nice to experiment with some to get your hair out of your face. Also, use a deep conditioner after you go to the beach or swimming; it will make your hair feel and look so much better afterwards!

If you guys have any tips or tricks for spring/summer, be sure to let me know! I hope that some of these have helped you and made you excited for summer!

I can’t wait to be writing a lot more then!

Talk to you soon!
