Hey everyone!
I know it’s been a minute since I posted on here! I didn’t want to let the month go by without celebrating the sixth birthday of Emily’s Edge! I can’t believe it’s been six years; it feels like I started this blog yesterday, but at the same time I feel like I’ve had it my whole life. I feel like my writing has grown so much over the past six years, and I’m excited because it’s about to grow even more. If you didn’t already know, I’m transferring to a college out here in Seattle where I’ll be majoring in communications and media with a specialization in journalism! I loved being in New York for two years and studying the business side of the fashion industry, but I’ve recently realized that my true passion is writing about fashion, hence the degree change to journalism. I’m very grateful and beyond excited to start my classes for it next month! Hopefully I’ll learn a lot about writing over my next few years in college, and I’ll definitely be sharing my favorite things in Seattle just like how I did in New York. I can’t wait for this next chapter of my life, and I hope you’re excited for it as well. Cheers to six years of Emily’s Edge and many more to come!
