Sunday Stripes

Hello everybody!

I have a super cute outfit post for you today. I love doing these, and this one works for the colder weather 🙂 I hope you enjoy it!

I’ve been looking for a red and white striped shirt, and I found this one at Forever 21 for only $9…talk about a bargain! I don’t usually buy clothes from there, but I was able to find this and have been wearing it quite a bit. It’s pretty thin, so I plan on wearing it in the summer too tucked into a pair of high waisted shorts.The quality doesn’t feel terrible either. I feel like Forever 21 is one of those stores where you just have to pick through everything, and every once in awhile you’ll find something cute. I’m not sure if this is online, but I’ll link it below if it is or similar tops.

I paired it with my favorite Topshop Joni jeans, because do I honestly wear anything else? I promise I do.

I’m wearing a denim jacket that’s actually kind of cropped with this look. I love how shorter jackets look with high waisted pants. The lengths compliment each other so nicely. I also love how you can see my sleeves poking out from under the jacket.

I had to accessorize with my boots and my bag. Adding a pair of pointed toe boots instantly makes an outfit look so much more sophisticated and dressy. I love how the boots are tight at the top too. You don’t ever have to worry about your jeans untucking.

To make this outfit a little bit more causal or laid back, I would swap the boots for a pair of Converse and the denim jacket for a zip up hoodie. I think it would look so nice, and it’s such a small and easy change to make. I think it would be the perfect daytime to nighttime outfit.
