“The city seen from the Queensboro Bridge is always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and beauty in the world.” F. Scott Fitzgerald

Hi everyone!

I traveled to New York two weeks ago and had the most amazing experience. I’ve been wanting to go to New York for years, so it was very exciting to see the city in person rather than through pictures or videos. I was looking forward to seeing how it met my expectations. Sometimes we can look at places and think they’re magical, when in reality they’re very average.

New York did not disappoint me. From the night I arrived until the plane ride home, I had such a great experience. I was able to do so many things; I shopped nonstop, walked miles everyday through the beautiful city, got to meet up with one of my best friends, and overall just had a super fun trip with my dad!

The atmosphere in New York is really interesting. I was able to see so many chic and classy outfits while I was just walking down the street. Everyone was so different from each other. The streets were constantly busy with new people, art, and ideas.

I just wanted to write this blog post so that I could share with you some of my favorite moments during the trip. I know I keep saying how amazing the trip was, but I really do mean it! It’s a new favorite city of mine, and I can’t wait to go back there again.

It’s good to be home though. Sorry for my lack of posts; I’m busy with exams and schoolwork. Expect some summery blog posts in two weeks when I’m finished 🙂 xx.

Talk to you soon!
