Pep-Talk Sunday: Taking Time To Relax


Hey everyone!

Happy Sunday! I’m back, and hopefully for a bit longer this time. I’ve been so busy with work, college applications (which are done now, yay!), and other things so of course, this had to be put to the side for a little bit. I know that I don’t owe an explanation, but I just like to keep you guys updated! So many of you have still been checking out my blog and past posts lately as well, so thank you for the great support! You are the best.

This blog post is kind of going to be like a little pep-talk for all of you since it’s Sunday, and a new week starts tomorrow. I think I might turn this into a series where I upload a post like this maybe once a month, or every two weeks, depending on what you all want!

Today’s topic is going to be about not doing it all. If any of you are like me, you might also be someone who finds themselves working and becoming busy. Sometimes it’s hard to find time to relax and not put so much pressure on ourselves. And when we do take time, we might feel as if we are wasting time or undeserving of a break.

However, taking time to chill is so important, both physically and mentally! If you don’t take time to rest, you’re overall going to be more tired and less productive. This is your reminder to take time for yourself this week! Whether that’s reading a book, getting your nails done, listening to your favorite podcast in the car, or catching up on your favorite shows, take time to relax.

Remember, it’s okay to not do it all. It’s a part of being human.
