Metallic/Chrome Nails and Butter London Review

Happy New Year! I am so excited for a fresh start and yet another year of blogging. I currently have lots of blog posts planned out. I can’t wait to share them all with you!

I finally decided to write this review about Butter London nail polishes and how to achieve the super on-trend chrome/metallic nails. I’ve been using Butter nail polish for a few months now, and have been loving the results. I’m a huge nail polish fan and this is definitely my favorite brand, which says a lot!

The color that I’m wearing is called Fairy Lights. It’s a super pretty pinkish-lilac shade. As you can see, the nail polish is already really metallic in the bottle. All I did was apply two coats of it in order to have it this pigmented. I honestly think just one coat of this nail polish would be fine, but I added an extra coat to make sure it was perfect.

I love that applying the polish in order to get this color was so easy. I know a lot of people go to nail salons in order to get shiny nails because they require a powder or special nail polish. This is a much more simple way and is just as effective. Not only does it save money, but it also saves you a trip to the salon to get your nails touched up weeks later.

Butter London nail polish is amazing! It has many benefits, including the fact that it lasts longer than other polishes. I know that I can wear it for a week without noticing any major chips or cracks on my nails. It’s also perfect to use if you’re traveling. When I went away for a week, I painted my nails with one of their colors because I knew it would last me the whole trip. Another great thing is that these polishes dry pretty quickly, so you don’t need to worry about them smudging.

A lot of nail polishes include chemicals that are not particularly good for your health. Butter is actually made without the eight chemicals that are usually put into nail polishes. Not only will you love your manicure, but you will be happy to know that you are not dealing with some of the horrible chemicals usually in polishes. Because of this, Butter actually tends to make your nails stronger and helps them grow.

There are so many different colors and shades that you can get. The price is definitely worth  it! I highly recommend Butter London. If you’re looking into getting chrome or metallic nails, definitely check this color out or their other shades!
