Hello, and happy first day of March!
I think I’m not the only one who feels like these past two months have flown by. One minute it was the new year, and now it’s March… where does the time go?
I really haven’t taken the time to sit down for awhile and blog, but it sure does feel amazing to do that now. I thought that I might just update you since it’s been a minute! 🙂
Last week, I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker for the fashion design class/fashion club at my school! It was seriously awesome; I got to talk about myself and Emily’s Edge, as well as answer questions that they had for me. I could tell some of the girls really enjoyed it and were interested. It reminded me of why I started this blog and how much it means to me. I felt super honored to talk to all of them!
I’ve also been meeting and connecting with even more people that I’m going to college with next year, which is super great! Everyone is so nice, and I’ve already found three roommates who are already such awesome friends. It makes me even more comfortable with moving across the country in a few months.
Speaking of which, I’m heading back to New York next month for a few days where I’ll be going to an accepted student’s day for my college. I’m meeting some of my roomies and friends in person for the first time, and it’s going to be so fun! And of course, I’m more than ecstatic to be back in New York. I miss it.
As for the time being, I’ve been sick for a bit and have been spending a lot of time at home and in bed resting. I was supposed to see a concert tonight, but I’m unfortunately having to skip it because of this cold. You win some, you lose some.
I hope all of you are having a happy year so far! I’m going to be back super soon with more posts again, but I’m glad I could share this little update!
