I recently listened to a podcast episode from one of my favorite podcasts, What We Said by Jaci Smith and Chelsey Curtis, where they talked about their favorite beauty products. As you all know from reading this blog, I love a good makeup or skincare product. Hearing about what Jaci and Chelsey love inspired me to do the same and share with you what I’m loving at the moment!
Glossier Bomb Dotcom in Rose: I’m going to keep this short because I’ve talked about this way too many times, but this is definitely one of my favorite lip balms. I’m actually close to finishing the whole tube which is super impressive considering it’s filled with a good amount of product.
Garnier Micellar Water: This stuff has made removing my makeup ten times easier. I always use this to take off the base of my makeup before using cleanser to really make sure my skin is completely makeup-free. If you haven’t used this stuff yet, you’re missing out! I’ve gone through so many big and travel sized bottles of this.
Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Gloss in Sophia: I love Buxom lip glosses. I have so many mini ones from sets, as well as a few full sized ones that I equally adore. They leave such a minty and fresh scent that lasts for an extended period of time. This one in Sophia is the perfect everyday color; it’s light pink with a beautiful, sparkly sheen.
Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer: I have dry skin that needs to be moisturized whenever I wash my face. I picked this up about a month ago, and let me tell you, I have already made a fair dent in the moisturizer. After I use this, I never feel the need to use primer under my makeup because it still applies great. This is definitely a product that I will be repurchasing!
Glossier Lash Slick: This is another product that I’ve talked about many, many times, but I’m still not over it. I know most people say this is a good product if you want natural looking lashes, but use a few coats of this and you achieve voluminous and long ones. As a mascara lover, I’ve always been on the hunt to find one that’s the best; I come back to lash slick each time.
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal: God bless Rihanna for killing the beauty game. This highlighter is the best one I’ve ever tried. I love that it comes with the two colors; I find that Lightning Dust is less sparkly and glittery than Fire Crystal. I personally reach for Fire Crystal more, but both are extremely pretty and worth the hype!
Mer-Sea & Co. Body Cream in Coconut Sugar: If any of you also have a FabFitFun subscription, you might have gotten this in your last winter box. I love this stuff. I hate lotions that feel super slimy and sticky, but this one soaks into your skin and leaves it so silky smooth. It smells just like a warm, beach vacation, too!
Roses De Chloé Rollerball: This is my favorite perfume. My favorite flowers are roses, and it’s also my favorite scent. This fragrance isn’t too strong and overpowering; it’s floral-y and soft. I love the smell of this and how it reminds me of fresh cut roses.
Glossier Invisible Shield: I can’t emphasize how important it is to protect your skin daily from the sun. With a lemon scent, great sun protection, and a clear application, Invisible Shield is your new favorite sunscreen.
Lavanila Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Lavender: I’ve been using this stuff for years now, and I love it because it doesn’t have aluminum in it. If you’re going to be using a product everyday, make sure to check out how clean and healthy it is!
