Hello everybody!
Today I am going to be discussing my favorite looks from the Oscars! I feel like a lot of the outfits were either really good or really bad. After doing a lot of research, I pulled some of my favorite looks and decided to show them to you!
(P.S. Sorry if the format of these pictures may be weird. I’m using them from Getty images so I can’t control the size of the photos like I usually can with my own.)
I’m going to be talking about who is wearing what in the order the photos appear 🙂
To start off with, Rachel McAdams is wearing a gorgeous emerald dress. This is probably one of my favorite dresses from the Oscars. Even though it is really simple, it has a gorgeous high neck and low back, which makes it more interesting. I also like how long the train is and the slit at the side. Her dress is August Getty Atelier and her heels are from Stuart Weitzman.
Next, we have Jared Leto wearing a Gucci tuxedo. As soon as I saw this, I could tell that this was a Gucci outfit because of the neck bow and red trim of the suit. I really like that his suit has red on it. His tuxedo looked liked nothing anybody else wore, which I consider to be a good thing.
Saorise Ronan showed up in a sequined, low neck dress. I described her look as “mermaid” in my notes. Her dress was a dark green color, and it looks like the pattern is almost swirly. Her gown is a custom Calvin Klein Collection one and her jewelry is from Chopard. I think that her outfit looks so pretty!
How cool is Naomi Watts’ Armani PrivĂ© dress? The more I look at this dress, the more I love it. The dress is a really nice cut, and I love that it has purple, pink, and blue all fading into each other. The necklace she’s wearing is so gorgeous, too! It’s from Bulgari. Her look was so unique, and the dress and jewelry go so nicely together.
Similarly to Jared Leto, Brie Larson also wore an outfit from Gucci. She wore a dark blue, v-neck gown with ruffles on the bottom. The look was paired with a floral belt. I honestly think this belt does so much for this look. Without it, the dress could be kind of boring. I like her final outfit, though. She is wearing Niwaka jewelry.
Jennifer Garner wore an Atelier Versace dress with Rene Caovilla heels. I like that the dress goes off the shoulder and how it has sequins on one part of it. I also like how the fabric connects back to the dress in the middle and bottom. In general, I think this outfit looked classy. She looked very put together on the red carpet.
Eddie Redmayne wore a velvet tuxedo by Alexander McQueen. I really like that his tuxedo is velvet. I think it makes a black suit look far more interesting, and I think that his outfit looked cool!
Lastly, Tina Fey wore a dress from Versace with Bulgari jewelry. I think she looked really sophisticated. Her dress is a vibrant purple color, which really makes it stand out since it doesn’t have any major details. I really loved the necklace she wore with this dress. It went together with the look very nicely.
What was your favorite look from the Oscars? I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments.
Talk to you soon!
