May Favorites

I have seen a lot of YouTube videos where people talk about their monthly favorites, and I thought that I would make a blog post doing the same. I have been loving so many different things, and here are a few.

To start off with, I’m showing the Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay. People seriously obsess over these eyeshadows, and I can see why. Every time I’ve seen these palettes, I’ve always had my eye on this one. I absolutely love the shades. I prefer to wear light, shimmery eyeshadows over dark ones, and Urban Decay made the perfect mix when they created these. Even some of the darker colors are perfect for putting in your crease or all over your eyelids. Pink eyeshadows are probably my favorite, and this palette does not disappoint me. It also comes with a double sided makeup brush. The Naked 3 palette costs $54, but the price is worth it!

Next, I’m showing my Kate Spade handbag. I’ve already talked about this in full detail, but I have loved wearing it recently. A couple months after I received this bag, I got a backpack from Rebecca Minkoff. I put this one away for awhile since I was using the other handbag, but I’ve recently decided to pick this back up again. The purse is extremely sturdy and cute. I love that it has the shoulder strap as well as the handles.

I’m also showing you my black, pointed toe boots. I seriously don’t need to talk more about these, but I’ve been loving them. They make any outfit look stylish! (More details on them here.)

The nail color I’m wearing is from Sally Hansen, and it’s apart of her gel manicure range. I have her salon gel polish starter kit, and I’ve had it for a few years now. I love it so much and highly recommend it if you’re interested in nail polish like me. There are so many different colors that you can buy, and once you buy the starter kit, you have the gel lamp and everything. It’s super professional, and they last a good amount of time on your nails. I’m surprised that I have never talked about this on here before. I think I might have to write a full review!

I’m showing one of my chokers because I have loved wearing them in May. This is the daisy one. They add such a simple but powerful accessory to your outfit. I also think that you can wear these chokers causal and a little bit more dressy depending on what kind of look you’re going for.

One of the last items I’m showing is my pink jacket from Brandy Melville. I’ve mentioned before about how I like to wear brighter colors in the summer, and this is definitely one of those pieces that I had in mind. Even though it’s warm out, it is still nice to have a light jacket for the nighttime or when you’re going out. I love this one, especially if I want to be comfortable and have a lot of monochrome colors on. This jacket is also super soft. It isn’t extremely thin, but it’s not thick either. Perfect for summer!

Lastly, I’m showing the liquified matte longwear lipstick from Too Faced. This is in the shade Child Star. This is my first liquid lipstick (surprising, I know), and I am super impressed with it. I ordered it online from Sephora because it was sold out in stores. A lot of the nude and brown lipstick are really in right now, and Too Faced has a lot in this collection. The one that I have is nude with pink undertones. I really like it. It doesn’t look too heavy on, and I haven’t found that it dries out my lips badly. This lipstick suits my skin tone well, and I recommend having a look at them!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, and make sure to let me know if you have tried/try out any of these things. I would be interested in hearing your feedback and opinions.

I hope everyone is having an awesome summer and enjoying the weather. 🙂
