The New York Diaries – Edition Four

A cute little pic of where I’ll be living for the next four years!

Hi everyone!

I am officially on spring break, which means it’s time to crank out a ton of new blog posts (yayyy)! However, before I start uploading more content, I need to give you guys my fourth edition of my New York diaries. And oh my gosh, how I miss New York already…

As you can see, the first full day in Manhattan was very rainy. However, as a California girl who rarely sees rain for herself, I didn’t mind it at all. I actually packed really light but made sure I packed the right kind of stuff. Honestly, I’m going to say it – I’m really proud that I didn’t overpack because I usually put so much extra stuff in my luggage that I end up never wearing on the trip.

The reason why I came back to New York was to see where I’ll be going to college in the fall and attend an event there. Oh my gosh, I had such a great time! As you can see, it was so beautiful and warm on campus that day. I’m so happy that I got to go back and see it. It was nice to just hang out for the day and enjoy being in the city I’m moving to.

I did a lot of shopping and walking around when I was there which was amazing. I love that you can pretty much walk anywhere you want to. It was really refreshing and lovely to just spend time in my favorite city and focus on my future for awhile…

It’s crazy to think that I’ll be moving here in a few months. I know I say that a lot, but it’s true. Sometimes I catch myself thinking “oh my gosh, this is my life?!”. I recently found a journal that I had written in a few months into 2017. One of the goals I had written down was to travel to New York. And here I am, two years later, getting ready to move there.

I’m glad I can share this journey will all of you. I have a lot of more posts coming your way very soon so stay on the lookout. 🙂

Talk to you so soon!
