Sunny September

Hi everyone!

Last weekend I was out with a few friends and really liked the outfit that I had on. I wanted to share it with you, and hopefully it will give you some inspiration.

To start off with, I must admit that it doesn’t feel like fall yet where I live. I’m ready to throw on jeans, black boots, and bomber jackets, but the weather seems to have a different plan for me. Because of this, I’ve been wearing my shorts, but feel free to pick and choose what you want from this outfit and replace what you don’t.

I paired my black denim shorts with a black top from Urban Outfitters. This shirt is a ringer tee and has pink on the edges. It’s honestly so cute! I feel a little less guilty if I wear some color with my monochrome outfits. Urban Outfitters is selling a lot of different patterns and colors in this style of tee, so I recommend that you head over to your local UO and check them out. Urban has some really cute stuff in right now.

Yes, I am wearing my denim jacket, and yes, I did only wear it for about an hour before taking it off. Practical? Maybe not. Fashionable and a nice addition to the outfit? Definitely.

I slipped on my white Converse because I thought it looked nice with the color combinations in this outfit. I also decided to wear my Rebecca Minkoff backpack because it’s so cute and easy. For jewelry, I did put on some earrings and rings, but the choker necklace I’m wearing is definitely the most noticeable. The necklace is made out of a chain that has silver discs going all the way across it. I really like it because this choker is super versatile, and it’s one that you can wear with anything. A lot of other ones tend to look great with certain styles, but are typically targeted at one type. I love how easy this one is to pair with everything. I bought this at the Melrose Trading Post from someone who handmade them. I found her website, so I’ll link it below, but from what I can tell she doesn’t have this necklace up yet.
