Hi everyone!

September is already coming to an end (can you believe it?!). There have been some accessories and products that I’ve been loving lately. I must put a little disclaimer in: this is an assortment that ranges from fashion to skincare to music. It’s random, but it’s honest and I love it.

Of course, I must start off with this jacket. Oh my gosh. Where do I begin? As most of you know, I am quite the fan of Bad Suns. I have seen so many jackets lately that have embroidery on the back or cool logos (fall trend alert). I really wanted one custom made for me, and this was the specific image I had in mind. I wanted a long, ripped boyfriend jacket with the Bad Suns logo on the back. One of my best friends, Val, actually custom made this for me. She hand painted the logo and letters all by herself (!!!). Ever since I got it, I’ve been finding excuses to wear it, even if it is ninety degrees outside. I love it, and it’s exactly what I had in mind! Of course, this would not have been possible if Val had not made these patches, sewn them on, and hand painted them for me. Thank you so much Val, you are so talented and you know how much this jacket means to me!

Speaking of Bad Suns, I have been obsessed with their new album Disappear Here! It’s so amazing, and definitely one of my favorites. I love it!

I’ve also been loving to decorate the collar of my jacket with pins. As you can see, I have quite the assortment at the moment. I love how cute each one is, and pins are becoming really popular at the moment! I think that they’re perfect to make any outfit a little bit more edgy and cool.

As you probably know, I’ve been wearing a lot of chokers this past month. These are two of my newest ones to my collection. I think that chokers are so sweet. They’re so delicate and simple but add a lot to your outfit depending on the one you’re wearing.

I have quite the assortment of lip products shown. For lipstick, I have really been loving dark, purple colors. One of these is the Buxon full-on lipstick in the shade Acapulco. This is the coolest shade ever! It’s a dark purple, but it’s also really bright when you put it on. I honestly love it so much, and it smells like cupcakes and feels minty. The other one I’m showing is the Bare Minerals Jack Of All Trades lip balm. This is also in a dark purple color, but it’s like tinted lip balm. It feels just like it when you put it on, but it is super pigmented and looks really nice. If you don’t feel like going all out with a bright lipstick, I recommend trying this! Lastly, I have the Neutrogena Moisture Shine Lip Soother in the shade Glow. This has SPF 20 and is made with cooling hydragel. I have been using this as my lip balm for a couple of months now, and I love it! It is really cooling on, so I like to use it when my lips are chapped or just as an everyday lip balm. The color I have is a nice light pink tone. It looks really natural, and you can layer it so that it looks like a gloss. It also looks like it is a bit shimmery, but it’s not noticeable when you’re wearing it.

Last, but certainly not least, I am showing the Origins Drink Up 10 minute face mask. This smells just like apricots, and I seriously do think that it helps if you have dry skin! I’ve used it multiple times now, and it makes my skin feel really soft when I rinse it off. If you have dry skin, I do recommend trying this because it seems to be helpful. Besides that, it’s in general just a really nice face mask.

Thank you guys so much for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it! What were some of your favorites from the month?

Also, quick thank you to everyone who’s been checking up on here recently. My blog is doing well, and I’m grateful for each person that reads, follows, or comments!

    1. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! A lot of my pins have been brought back to me from other places or were gifts, so I’m not sure where most of them are from! I do know that Urban Outfitters is where I got the cherry one. Most stores are selling them now so just keep an eye open and you should see a bunch! 💗

I really like your Sub Pop pin. Reminds me of The Afghan Whigs, Soudgarden and
of course Nirvana, whose “Nevermind” is 25 years old this year. Very cool. Love Dad

  4. […] I paired the pants with a simple top from Brandy Melville. This is a blue t-shirt with thin white stripes. It has a textured material and is super comfortable, just like all of Brandy’s clothes are. I find that it’s really easy to take simple tops from them and style it up while keeping it casual. I threw my Bad Suns denim jacket on over it because I was cold…even though it was probably sixty five degrees out (that’s cold if you literally experience about one season every year). This jacket is such a staple piece in my wardrobe right now. The fact that there is nothing like it makes it super special. Also, unlike my other denim jacket I have, this one is in a boyfriend style so it’s looser and longer. (There are more pictures of the back of the jacket and the pins that I stuck on here.) […]
