In The Garden

I’ve been picking up a few new wardrobe pieces for this summer, and I think now is the perfect time to talk about them. I had a recent shoot with my friend, and I love all of the photos and my outfit! What’s a better way to show you these awesome new clothing pieces and photos besides a blog post?

I feel like the sunglasses that I’m wearing are a very statement piece. Sunglasses with colored lenses are so in right now, and I’ve wanted to get my hands on some for awhile. I finally tried these ones on at Urban Outfitters and really liked how they looked. Although these come in a few different colors, yellow lenses are especially trendy right now. They’re a bit funky and give me a throwback vibe but hey, who doesn’t love an interesting and statement piece?

I’m also wearing my Fenty Pumas which have been in style for about a year now. I got these while I was in New York and have yet to feature them on here. I personally love these. The platform makes them look super cool, and I can guarantee you that these are more comfortable than they look. I’ve been wearing these as my go-to sneakers since I got them. They’re definitely worth the investment, and come in a variety of colors and material. I chose to stick with the white leather and white platform with the classic black puma stripe.

My last new item is this red shirt from Brandy Melville. I’m not sure why, but I’ve been into the color red lately. I feel like part of it might be because I’ve been listening to a lot of albums that I love that have the color red associated with them. Anyways, this shirt was a great purchase! I don’t own many red clothing items (practically none), and the color of this tee is perfect. How cute does it look paired with my choker, Pumas, and shorts?
