Hello everyone!
I think these might be some of my favorite blog photos ever! I really love how this outfit looks with the light and dark denim pieces. I hope you love it just as much as I do!
I decided to wear black jeans with rips at the knees (…I know. Black, really? What a surprise). I threw on this black and white gingham shirt, and then some simple black boots to go with it. A plain black outfit can be very boring if you don’t accessorize it well. So, of course, that led me to my next addition… a denim jacket.
It’s no surprise now that I love embroidered denim jackets. When I saw this one at the store, I first walked away without it but ended up coming back a few minutes later to try it on. It’s very different from the other denim jackets I own. It’s a lighter wash, and it’s a bit oversized, but not quite as big as my Bad Suns one. It also has elastic by the waist. The main thing that drew me to this jacket though was the back. In black letters, it says “No Heart Breakers.” The words almost look like they were spray painted on there. They are actually made from a braided rope material (if you zoom in, you can see it). I just love how different this jacket is. It’s such a statement piece, which I’ve come to realize I really, really like acquiring different and unique pieces. This jacket has definitely become a new staple item in my wardrobe.
Alright, enough of the jacket, can we talk about these sunglasses now? I’ve had these for a few months but haven’t ever properly worn them until recently. They are gold, glittery cat eye sunglasses. They’re a bit out there, but super easy to style. I showed them once before in a blog post, so I’ll link it here if you’d like to get more details about them.
